Heavenly Assistant

The Heavenly Assistant is a Yang Wood element Star that is considered auspicious. Its corresponding position is in the Xun 4 (Southeast) Palace on a Qi Men chart. The Star is associated with culture, education, arts, wisdom and assistance from seniors and elders – making it a particularly favourable star for those who are learning, involved in academia or facing examinations.

In general, this star influence can be beneficial for travelling, business activities and a person’s social status. It may also assist in trade and commerce, construction and renovation, opening new business ventures and long distance travel. It is also suitable for maximising one’s longevity. Proposals, marriages and pregnancies may be twice as auspicious with this Star.

The positive influence of this star is beneficial all year round, although it is most powerful during the spring and summer months. As such, it is considered supportive for a broad range of activities such as networking, developing new relationships, house repairs and even inauspicious events such as funerals, which are likely to have a satisfactory conclusion under the Heavenly Assistant.

Given the Heavenly Assistant’s association with learning, it can be represented by material objects such as pens, ink, letters, computers and tablets and mobile devices. It can also be symbolically represented by rectangular shapes and elastic items. In terms of landforms, it is associated with forests, trees, flower meadows and greeneries.

As a Wood element Star, the Heavenly Assistant is most prosperous when found in a Fire element palace as Wood produces Fire and is strong in a palace which shares the same element as itself. It is weak when it lands in an Earth element palace (as Wood controls Earth), trapped when it is found in a Metal element palace (as Metal controls Wood), and dead in a Water element palace (as Water produces Wood).

Strength

The greatest asset of these individuals is their minds. Knowledge is their potential power, and applied knowledge is true power. They are not only well learned but are also able to pick up new and complicated ideas quickly. This helps them excel in specialised careers and break new ground academically, should they choose to do so. Their problem-solving skills are also second to none. They are excellent teachers as well as excellent learners.
One less obvious strength they have is their optimistic outlook. They are determined to make the world a better place and smart enough to figure out ways of doing so, working as a force for good. They are also reliable and can be counted upon during a time of need or crisis. People instinctively turn to them for guidance and advice when things get tough.

Weakness

Many intellectual people struggle with anxiety. And they tend to over-analyse things. This tendency means that Heavenly Assistant people can take a long time to make decisions and get things done because they have to weigh up all the options and explore all the possibilities in depth. Unfortunately, life often calls for decisiveness. A quick decision is often better than a perfect one.
Because they are so detail orientated, Heavenly Assistant people can be hard to please. They are most critical of their own output. Nevertheless, they can be sensitive to criticism about their work. Even constructive pointers can be quite upsetting to a Heavenly Assistant person, although they would never admit it.
Finally, Heavenly Assistant people are dependent on stability. This is a weakness as it leaves them vulnerable to change. They have a particularly hard time dealing with loss. Also, when they are socially isolated, they quickly become self-critical and lose confidence. They require stability and social support to function.

I am SH, a Chinese Metaphysics enthusiast, practitioner, consultant, life transformation coach and also the Founder of SH Astrology Consulting. Chinese Metaphysics such as Bazi and QiMen as always fascinated me. I am always amazed by how Bazi and QiMen could forecast the outcomes and relate encounters that a person can experience with great accuracy when it is being applied correctly. When it come to Feng Shui, the studying of the flow of Qi (Chi) energy can influences the environment around us.These energies can directly or indirectly affect how we operate and affect what we want to achieve. With proper practice, we can create opportunities that help us achieve our goals. SH Astrology was created to share my knowledge in BaZi and also some other Chinese Metaphysics systems like QiMen, Feng Shui, Yi Jing. I would also like to debunk some myths, and irrelevant concepts or beliefs in Chinese Metaphysic which cause confusion and fear in people’s life.
