Timing is Everything

In the previous posting, I said that there’s something different you can do for each day and it would be topic of its own. Here it is.

There’s a time for everything, wouldn’t you agree? For example, the price of stocks can be up today, down tomorrow or vice versa. Even if you get the right stocks to invest in, time can make all the difference in how profitable it can be. Likewise, the same can be said of doing any activity. There is a clear difference between doing the same thing at the right and wrong time.

A day could be a Monday, Tuesday and so on according to the Gregorian Calendar. In the Chinese Calendar, each day could be one of the 12 Day Officers; namely the Establish, Remove, Full, Balance, Stable, Initiate, Destruction, Danger, Success, Receive, Open and Close days. Suitable activities would relate to what each day is named after.

As their names imply, Establish and Initiate days are great for beginnings and starting something new. Remove days are good to remove negativity out of your life. Receive days are good for you to be asking for something, such as a promotion or a pay raise. Some of the 12 Day Officers are a bit tricky, though.

While its name sound menacing, Danger days are not at all dangerous. In fact, it’s one of the better days thanks to its effect. This is a day where problems become opportunities. Similarly, Balance day is when you can get even and equal footing if you are in a disadvantageous position. When paired with the correct activity, you can turn the unfavourable into favourable.

Success days in general are the most auspicious and positive day of them all. The energy present during these days are suitable for all activities that require a positive start and a positive end. It acts as a multiplier for the outcome of any activity. For all your important events, you might want to commence it on these days.

By now, you might be wondering what today’s 12 Day Officer is and how can you tell what day is which. Not to worry, all of these and more are included in the coming posting. For now, keep these in mind as they’ll be useful later on. Next time, I’ll be sharing about the dates you should be avoiding. Once you have a better understanding on the subject, you can put it to good use immediately.

I am SH, a Chinese Metaphysics enthusiast, practitioner, consultant, life transformation coach and also the Founder of SH Astrology Consulting. Chinese Metaphysics such as Bazi and QiMen as always fascinated me. I am always amazed by how Bazi and QiMen could forecast the outcomes and relate encounters that a person can experience with great accuracy when it is being applied correctly. When it come to Feng Shui, the studying of the flow of Qi (Chi) energy can influences the environment around us.These energies can directly or indirectly affect how we operate and affect what we want to achieve. With proper practice, we can create opportunities that help us achieve our goals. SH Astrology was created to share my knowledge in BaZi and also some other Chinese Metaphysics systems like QiMen, Feng Shui, Yi Jing. I would also like to debunk some myths, and irrelevant concepts or beliefs in Chinese Metaphysic which cause confusion and fear in people’s life.
